Approach

Tell – show – do

How a child's first few dental visits go tends to shape how they feel about dentists for the rest of their life. We take that seriously. First appointments are short, unhurried, and often involve nothing more than a ride in the chair and a count of the teeth.

Baby teeth matter more than most parents are told. They hold space for the adult teeth arriving behind them, and losing one early can cause crowding that later needs braces to fix. They are also capable of causing serious pain and infection when decayed.

Because there is an orthodontist in the practice, developing bite problems get spotted at the age when guiding jaw growth is still an option — rather than after the window has closed.

Why it is worth doing

Builds a positive association with dental care early
Sealants and fluoride prevent decay rather than treating it later
Bite problems caught while growth can still be guided
Baby teeth preserved so adult teeth have room to come through
Practical guidance for parents on brushing, diet and habits

Do you need this?

Signs it may betime to come in.

If any of these sound familiar, it is worth a consultation — even just to be told it is nothing.

The process

What actuallyhappens, step by step.

No stage of your treatment should be a surprise. This is the sequence from first appointment to finish.

01

A gentle introduction

The first visit is about familiarity, not treatment. We explain each instrument before using it, in language a child understands.

02

Examination

A check of all erupted teeth, the gums and how the bite is developing, with X-rays only if genuinely necessary.

03

Cleaning and fluoride

A gentle polish and a fluoride application that strengthens enamel against decay.

04

Sealants where needed

The deep grooves of newly erupted back molars are where decay usually starts. A sealant closes them off — quick, painless, no drilling.

05

Treatment if required

Fillings or pulp treatment done in short, calm appointments, with the approach matched to the child rather than the clock.

06

Growth monitoring

From around age 7 we watch how the jaws and adult teeth are developing, and flag anything that would benefit from early intervention.

Cost

What affectsthe price.

We give you the full fee for your plan in writing before treatment starts, and nothing is added partway through.

01Whether the visit is a check-up and fluoride, or actual treatment
02How many teeth are involved, and whether sealants are being placed
03Whether an early orthodontic assessment is included

The only honest way to price kids dentistry is to look at your mouth first. Book an examination and you will leave knowing exactly what it costs — with no obligation to start on the day.

Questions

Kids Dentistry— your questions.

The things patients in Prayagraj most often ask us about this treatment.

By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. That sounds early, and the visit is short — but it establishes the habit and lets us catch early decay when it is still reversible.
